Meet Sharon Elizabeth
Pouring light into the darkness
Hi, I’m
Sharon
Growing up, I didn’t always have a safe space to bring every part of myself. Much of my life has been shaped by shadows that felt too heavy to share, and I carried them silently, unsure of how to let the fullness of who I am be seen.
One of my gifts from a young age was finding beauty in the little things. I couldn’t make everything better, but for brief moments, I could find + spread joy through photography.
And so I did. The word ‘photography’ means ‘drawing with light’. Every day, I get to draw from my light and pour it into the world – I help others see the beauty in their families and themselves.
When I’m not sharing my terrible dance moves and love of all things 90’s with the world, I’m binge watching ‘reality’ dating shows, writing children's books and doing my best to love like (the table-flipping, unconditional version of) Jesus.

Meet
Chase
My right-hand in business and favorite hand to hold IRL.
He’s a talented photographer and videographer, and who better to capture others’ best moments with than the one I’ve shared my best moments with?
Due to multiple open heart surgeries, Chase lost his ability to yell or speak loudly, but that doesn’t hold him back from creating a huge impact on the lives he touches.
Fun fact: his heartbeat sounds like a clock and he sounds just like Batman!
As an associate photographer and wedding filmmaker, Chase is dedicated to capturing the special moments that you will cherish for a lifetime, and he loves having creative freedom behind the camera.

Sharon Elizabeth Photography started with just lil ol’ me back in 2008, and has grown to a team of brilliant creatives since then.
Chase and I provide photography and videography for families and couples from all walks of life in Outer Banks, NC, and our Associate Photographers serve the Hampton Roads, VA area.
