how sweet are kalley and her two girls?! i had a blast meeting up with these three beautiful ladies (and dad, too!) at nags head pier for their mommy + me session! we had the most dreamy sunset the night of our session. i’m always grateful for an evening spent listening to the waves crash with the wind in our hair. add in a gorgeous mom and her two babies and it’s perfect. i love that these three made sure to bring dad too and have him jump in at the end of their session for a few family photos. there were so many laughs and big smiles. it was the best evening!

mommy + me photos in nags head

one of the things i always love about mommy + me photos is the chance to document all of your relationships. these sessions are all about the little moments. i’m watching for the extra tight hugs and the big smiles. i encourage the inside jokes and special laughs that come out when you’re with the people who just get you. these two little girls had a blast jumping around and making each other laugh. and i loved the way they made their mom laugh too. kalley’s smile was so genuine the entire session. they really nailed their outfits – perfect for those evening winds on the sand. kalley’s skirt and bodices were killer!

this incredible family runs Barrier Island Bagels in kitty hawk, nc. make sure you swing by the next time you’re in the area. not only are they suchhh a sweet (and funny) family but they’re such hard workers. i am so inspired by their business and big dreams. kalley (and family), i can’t wait to work with you all again! thank you for trusting me to capture these precious moments with your two beautiful girls. i hope that you will treasure these forever as your girls get bigger!
