chase and i loved documenting vinny and hillary’s morning proposal! one minute it was cloudy, the next it was sunny and the wind was ‘winding’ 😂 vinny had obx pop up picnics come out and set everything up and it was absolutely perfect for them. obx pop up picnics created a super sweet beach picnic for the couple… with red roses and white umbrellas right on the sand in kitty hawk, it felt so romantic! hillary was definitely surprised when they walked up to the spot on the beach – she thought it was set up for someone else! vinny got down on one knee. then they got to enjoy a cozy and romantic picnic (after we were done photographing them, of course!).

vinny had us photograph their engagement and we had the honor of capturing it on video too. there’s something so special about knowing that they can look back on the actual moment as it happened for all the years to come! after hillary said yes, we walked around the beach in kitty hawk capturing those moments of them right after the proposal. the smiles and laughs in those moments are some of our favorites to capture. we’re obviously huge fans of documenting your big celebrations in as many ways as possible. 

we adore these two sooo much and chase and i cannot wait to document their wedding this summer 😭🥰

a tip for outer banks proposals…

we have gotten so many proposal requests – and have had to turn away so many because we’re no longer available 🙁  they’re one of our favorite moments to document!!! if you’re looking to propose please reach out as soon as you decide you want it documented (photo or video) because we WANT to be there!
