congratulations mallory and noah! we had the absolute freaking honor of capturing mallory and noah’s surprise proposal on pea island. i freaking cry every time i go back through these photos. this proposal was a complete and total surprise for mallory (and her daughter). she had no idea that noah had been planning this special moment, and their friends even drove in from out of state to help him pull it all together.

noah picked the perfect spot on pea island – near the lifesaving station. there, his friends helped him set up a beautiful picnic and “marry me” sign for mallory to find on their walk. she was definitely surprised – and so was her sweet daughter! every proposal is special to photograph, but throw in a little girl watching her mama experience such joy and i’m doneeeee. 🥹  

i cry every time i think about her reaction… and the conversation i overheard her and her mama sharing on the walk back to the jeep hits me right in my heart hole. noah made sure to make her daughter feel just as special and loved by getting her a necklace and placing it on her right after proposing. it was absolutely perfect for these three. after all of the congratulations were over, we spent time capturing new photos of mallory and noah to celebrate, as well as family photos of all three of them splashing in the surf and enjoying the beach. It was such a dreamy way to end a truly beautiful day!
