Some of you may remember kelsey + billy from a video I shared in April of last year. They were one of our SEP couples that shared what it was like planning (and replanning) a wedding during a pandemic. One of the things that stood out to me most was their open admission that it was tough but that the end result – the celebration of their love through marriage – was what they were most looking forward to. Their wedding day in Virginia Beach, VA ended up looking entirely different than what they planned.

But y’all, it was so incredibly perfect.

Ironically, Kelsey knew that all along. In the questionnaire that she submitted to me in 2019 (well before the pandemic was even a thought) she wrote: “At the end of the day, I know and believe that our wedding day will be perfect no matter what because we are starting our love story that day…”.  Her sentiment ended up being true because “no matter what” actually happened to them.  Despite all of the obstacles, they were nothing but smiles on the day of their wedding.  Big, show all of your teeth, smiles.  Take a look and see for yourself.
